This is a simulation of the effects of macular degeneration on your eyesight. Macular degeneration begins as an unfocused region in the center of the visual field which is larger when looking at close objects. The blurry region grows and eventually includes a blind spot in the center. This simulation is intended to demonstrate the progressive nature of macular degeneration, and is not a self-diagnosis or vision test, nor is it intended to replace a visit to your eye doctor.
